Our Philosophy
Our daycare motto is "supervised, safe
play".  The important part of safe play is
supervision and control.   Left on their own,
dogs may bully one another and/or injure
one another unintentionally by rough play.
At Play N Stay, all dogs are evaluated
before entering the daycare group.  We
match compatible personalities and
supervise interaction to ensure a positive
experience for all.
We are the pioneers.  Play N Stay is Spokane's first dog
daycare and boarding facility.  We have been open 8
years.  WE HAVE EXPERIENCE!

We are an all indoor facility with double doors at all
entrances to ensure the safety and security of our
guests.  That way our clients don't need to worry about
anyone escaping over or under a fence like at some
dog daycares that have outdoor areas.

We separate dogs according to size, temperament, and
energy levels so that our smaller guests aren't being
trampled by their more energetic bigger friends.

We provide a time-out area for dogs that are getting too
rambunctious or just need a short break.

We have flexible drop-off and pick-up hours and are
open Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm.

For the safety of our guests,  we only accept spayed or
neutered dogs.

We are strict on our vaccination protocol.  We keep
vaccination records in our computer and require our
clients to keep their pets current on all vaccines.

We are in close proximity to several veterinary clinics
so in the unlikely event that your dog would require
medical attention we are ready.

We maintain a strong focus on positive education,
behavior and training. All of our staff members are
trained in canine behavior and animal care.  Therefore,
we are able to avoid any problematic behavior that may
occur by recognizing and stopping things before they
escalate.
What is Dog Daycare?

Well...imagine your dog being surrounded by other doggy
friends, romping and rolling all day
instead of sitting home bored
and lonely while you
're out for the day.  Doggy daycare is more than
"just a fad", it can be necessary for owners who work long hours, dogs
that need more exercise and supervision than they get at home alone,
and socialization skills that every dog needs to know!
